In this paragraph, we will inform you of what data is collected and for what purpose.

1.      Automated data processing/ Sharing data

When you visit our website, data is processed automatically – for technical reasons – but this does not allow the data subject – you – to be personally identified. This data contains, among other things, information about the time of access, the browser used, the referring URL (previously visited website) and other purely technical information about your hardware, operating system and browser information. This data will not be shared with third parties.

2.      Collection of personal data

Personal data and information is processed exclusively for the performance of order-related processes and for the completion of contractually-related procedures.

The processing of personal data only takes place in the course of inquiries or contractual transactions which the data subject themselves or a third party commissioned by the data subject has sent to us, e.g. to prepare an offer.

If you have provided us with your personal data, we assure you that no data will be shared we third parties, unless this is necessary for the fulfilment of the order or a legal basis prescribes such sharing.

Despite all technical and organisational measures, no guarantee can be given for 100% security in the processing of your personal data via our website. We therefore recommend that you send us particularly sensitive personal data, to the extent required for the fulfilment of our order, by post or telephone call.

Personal data is primarily processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – for the performance of a contract or the performance of pre-contractual actions. Alternatively, in non-contractual situations, data is processed on the express consent of the data subject pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Duration of data storage

Personal data is stored by us in connection with contractual processing in accordance with the statutory retention periods. In the case of exclusively pre-contractual processing, personal data will be erased with a period of 4 weeks after the last transaction-related correspondence. An exception to this is a request for erasure by the data subject; this will be complied with immediately insofar as this is not contrary to any legal regulation or in the event that a state authority has made a request for information.

Sharing personal data – categories of recipients

Personal data will only be shared with third parties if this is absolutely necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual tasks in relation to the data subject. For example, it may be necessary to use one or more subcontractors, such as transport companies, to fulfil contractual obligations, such as the delivery of goods to the data subject; this makes it necessary to share your name and address.
